Variety is reporting that Daniel Radcliffe is indeed in final talks to star as Igor in a new adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. Paul McGuigan is set to direct and Max Landis will helm the screenplay.
Dan, according to the article, will star in the role this coming fall, after his West End stint in 'The Cripple of Inishmaan'. More on this will be revealed in the coming months, though note it does not mean Dan is 100 percent confirmed yet.
It has been announced that three international markets have already bought rights to air Daniel Radcliffe and Jon Hamm's series, 'A Young Doctor's Notebook, said TBI Vision, including HBO Latin America, RTL Passion in Germany and Yes in Israel. BBC Worldwide is currently handling international sales of the series at this week's Showcase sales event.
Daniel Radcliffe said: “I’m immensely proud of A Young Doctor’s Notebook – I’m a Mikhail Bulgakov obsessive – and this is one of the most interesting and original projects I’ve had the pleasure to work on. To hear that the series is travelling far and wide makes it all the more valuable to me.”
Daniel Radcliffe, Joseph Gordon Levitt, and host Seth MacFarlane performed a little dance number in the beginning of the Academy Awards. That can be seen here.
