As part of promotion for the release of the Ultimate Collector's editions of Sorcerer's Stone and Chamber of Secrets, a new video has been released showing producer David Heyman at the first press conference in 2000 reading a note he received from J.K Rowling. The note regards her feelings at Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson being cast for the roles of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger, respectively. It can be viewed below.

Having seen Dan Radcliffe's screen test, I don't think Chris Columbus could have found a better Harry. I am also delighted to see that we're going to have a screen Ron and Hermione who can bicker as if they'd been doing it all their lives. Chris's choice of three wonderful British actors for the leading roles shows how well he understands the spirit of these books. I wish Dan, Emma, and Rupert the very best of luck, and hope they have as much fun acting the first year at Hogwarts as I had writing it.
