Harry Potter: The Exhibition hits Boston this weekend
News - Newsflash

Thursday, 22 October 2009 15:10 took part in an interview with the production company that created Harry Potter: The Exhibition, a touring exhibit of Harry Potter memorabilia that just finished a run in Chicago and is opening this weekend at the Boston Museum of Science. Tons of Potter items are on display, including several used by Dan Radcliffe in the films. In fact, the exhibitors told us that it takes 16 semi trucks to move everything!

We also sat in on a Q&A with actor Matthew Lewis, who portrays Harry's dorm-mate Neville Longbottom in the films. The actor was there to add his character's wand to the exhibit. Seeing Neville's dancing shoes from the Yule Ball on display at the museum reminded him of the rehearsals that all the actors had to endure.

I remember when I first put those (shoes) on for dancing rehearsals. I can't dance. But they told me Neville's a good dancer. Great. See, the other guys, like Dan and Rupert, were fine because they were told they were supposed to be rubbish. (laughter)

You can view loads of new pics from the exhibit here.

Tickets for Harry Potter: The Exhibition can be purchased at the Boston Museum of Science's website here.
