The Sunday Mail is reporting that an attorney representing J.K. Rowling has recently commented on the prospect of the author creating her Harry Potter comprehensive encyclopaedia.

The attorney stated that it "simply remains something Ms Rowling would like to complete sometime in the future," while a close friend stated:

JK's work on the book was revealed in an interview by fellow author and Edinburgh neighbour Ian Rankin. The Rebus writer said: "The last I saw of her she was writing the Harry Potter encyclopaedia. Drawing family trees for all the characters, so it would go back over generations."
