The BAFTA Film nominations were announced this morning, where Daniel Radcliffe and fellow actor Holliday Grainger announced the top choices for 2011. That can be viewed here. Dan and Grainger also discussed what they thought of the nominations; Dan commented on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 receiving four nods.

Announcing the shortlist at Bafta in Piccadilly, along with Great Expectations actress Holliday Grainger and Bafta chairman Tim Corrie, Daniel said: "I think they absolutely deserve to be there and I really hope they'll win."

He added: "It's lovely to have a year when it's not like when (James Cameron movie) Avatar was just going to walk away with everything.

"It's a really diverse grouping of lots of very, very different styles of films, so it's a good year for cinema."
