Check out DanRadcliffe.co.uk's review of Daniel Radcliffe's How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, by Samantha Kasse.

How To Succeed Is A Success!

With Daniel Radfliffe in the lead role, and an excellent supporting cast, the musical set in the 60’s revolves around a young man, J. Pierrepont Finch and his climb of the corporate ladder.

Those who come to watch Daniel Radcliffe will not be disappointed. His energy and comedic timing are a triumphant, from the moment the play starts one quickly forgets that this is the boy we have come to know so well as the young wizard. This is Radcliffe’s first attempt at an American accent and although it may falter at moments during the course of the play, his effort should be commended.

The musical is filled with catchy tunes and animated dance numbers. Radcliffe’s has a pleasant singing voice, with an almost soothing cadence to it, but there is an absence of projection that is found with more experienced Broadway singers. What he lacks in singing he more than makes up for with the dance numbers. His stamina is impressive to say the least, there is no doubt Radcliffe fully dedicated himself to his dance training for he holds his own among his fellow talented co-stars.

How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying brings a much needed does of comedy back to the Broadway stage, a play that fully delivers, and has reminiscing about your favourite musical numbers and moments as you leave. You will be thoroughly charmed and entertained.
