The Harry Potter films were honoured at the Orange British Academy Film awards on Sunday evening with the Outstanding Contribution to Cinema award, which author JK Rowling, producers David Heyman and David Barron, directors David Yates, Mike Newell, and Alfonso Cuaron, as well as Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, picked up on stage. Daniel Radcliffe could not attend the BAFTA awards due to his rehearsal commitment to How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, but did comment on the films' honour in a video montage on the series.
