Several media outlets got the chance to talk to Daniel Radcliffe last night on the red carpet for the premiere of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, Florida. Dan talked to MTV about the Dragon Challenge ride and visiting Ollivanders with costar Rupert Grint.

"The Dragon Challenge roller coaster is a real standout for me. Make sure that [the harness is] really tight; you have to try to keep your eyes open and try to come out with the longest prolonged scream, and if all your hair hasn't gone on one side of your head at the end, you haven't done it right." Â

"Me and Rupert [Grint] stood outside Ollivander's Wand Shop for five minutes this morning thinking we couldn't go in. We were just impressed by the outside," he said.

"When we heard they were doing a 'Harry Potter' theme park, it's one of those things where you think that can go either way," he added. "In the wrong hands, that would not have been impressive, but these guys have just done the most bang-up, amazing job. The care and love that has gone into this park is equal to what we put into the films, and that's what makes this very special and authentic."Â

Dan mentioned considering doing a role in the FOX comedy programme, Glee, which ties to his Broadway musical debut in How to Succeed in Business Without Really trying next summer.

“Yes, absolutely. I would consider it. I mean of course… it’s an amazing show and I [would] obviously be honored to be asked,” he explained. “But, I’m not sure I’m ready for that yet. They’ve got standards like Kristin Chenoweth!”

He also joked that as a result of becoming a part of a theme park, he has officially made it.

"I've now 'made it' officially. This is kind of the pinnacle. It doesn't get better than this," Radcliffe said.

Asked to describe the impact on his life of his role in the Harry Potter franchise, Radcliffe said, "It's not something I could sum up ... Every opportunity I'll get for the rest of my life will be traceable back (to Harry Potter)."

Recently, London mayor Boris Johnson spoke about how a Harry Potter theme park should naturally be in the UK. Dan and his costars talked about Johnson's comments, and their thoughts on the matter.

Dan: Yeah well, of course it would be absolutely wonderful to have an equivalent in London. I’m sure Boris, as the mayor of London, is surely the man with the power to make that happen, one would assume.
