TDS: What is new and improved in the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince videogame? PT: There is a really good feature, the Duelling. It's a two player where you can actually battle against each other in the Great Hall. We were playing it earlier. It has characters like Draco Malfoy, Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. We were doing it on the Wii and it even has hidden spells, depending on which way you move the Wii remote and it was really interesting. PT: I'm not too sure to be honest; I haven't been asked this question all day! *chuckles* What do you think you would? TDS: Well Quidditch is being reinstated in this videogame… PT: Yeah, we were playing that earlier. The beginning of the videogame, the training, gets you used to things around the Burrow. It's a new part outside of Hogwarts which is new to the videogame and you are on a broomstick. We were on the Wii again so it was a lot more interactive. Also the graphics on the Playstation 2, 3 and Xbox 360 are amazing. TDS: How do you like the Wii version of the videogame compared to the others? PT: It's really interactive and depending on how you move the Wii remote you can cast different spells and interact with different characters. It brings it a lot more to life. I think it is the first time you can actually cast a spell as opposed to just playing in the playground. You need to know the different hand actions for the different spells and it all brings a realistic feel to the videogame. TDS: What are your favourite features of the videogame? PT: Probably the fact that you can now take objects and people and move them around. It is a good new feature, especially when you are playing in multiplayer, since you can take your opponents and move them around. TDS: How would you improve upon the Harry Potter videogames? PT: EA try and improve the videogames as they go along, all the way through the series, from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone until now. When this videogame comes out in the summer it will be state-of-the-art, and then when technology improves, say in eight or ten months, it will be obsolete to give way to better ones such as the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows videogame. All the different characters even have individual parts to their hair. It's not just one block on their head, its all hair segments, they are totally individual. The detail is amazing, and while we were there [at EA's headquarters] they were doing Dumbledore's beard and every part of his beard was blowing in the wind. I don't think there is much room for improvement on the whole, which is really, really, exciting to see.
