As a general rule, we do not delete accounts. If you think you have a legitimate reason for having your account deleted and you do not have any warnings, you may PM an Admin with your reasoning and we will consider your case.

Non-legitimate reasons include, but are not limited to: wanting a different username (see 'Can I Change My Name?' for options), wanting to be sorted into a different house, having several warnings/infractions, already having created another account (see 'Multiple Accounts' for more details), and no longer intending to use your account for whatever reasons.

It often occurs that people who "won't" be using their accounts anymore' invariably come back and open new accounts, then request if they can have their previous post count back, be resorted into their old house, etc. It is simply easier for all parties involved to keep open all accounts that have been created.
