It's hard to believe, but Dan's 19th birthday is just a couple months away!  Keeping in step with requests to use such occasions to gift to his charity of choice, we encourage you to consider making a donation to Demelza House in honor of Dan's birthday.  Please visit our charity page for information about the hospice and instructions for how to make a donation .

 

Remember, the children of Demelza need ongoing support year round.  Whether it is to donate in honor of a special occasion, in honor of a loved one who has passed or merely because it's Tuesday and you feel generous, this page is always available to you.  Please visit this section of our site regularly for updates or check the Donation Widget to the right for an update on donations and totals. Although our approach to fundraising is one which suggests, "It's Not What You Get, It's What You Give", this year we have chosen to honour our contributing fans with a section entitled, "Demelza's Star Fans ." Each fan who has made a donation to Demelza is listed with the number of stars equal to how many donations they have made on our records! The stars are intended to reflect that there are fans who have chosen to make charitable donations as part of their lives on an ongoing basis. Perhaps you can "challenge" your friends to a little game of "stars" to encourage donations, and to see who can get the most stars!

 

We will also honour one of our Demelza contributors each month to reflect our ongoing efforts year-round. Special thanks to Mary Lou who allowed us to post her own profile as a sample of what we'd like to create for each and every one of you who contribute to charity.  All you have to do is send us a picture of yourself, tell us your name, your birthday (not year), your location, your hobbies and pastimes, an interesting thing about yourself that perhaps nobody knows, and a paragraph regarding why you have chosen to make donations to charities.

 

We will create and link every profile to your name from the list! You are also under no obligation to send us anything if you wish to remain anonymous. But we think it would be awfully down-right cool to see your picture on such a prestigious and professional Daniel Radcliffe website, don't you? Particularly for such a great cause! If you have contributed in the past, then we welcome your support again and would be glad to create a profile for you, even if you cannot donate this time around.  If you are a new contributor then we would welcome you to Demelza's Star Fans!
